A Hotline has been opened in Beijing for 24-hour free health consultations.

Citizens can dial 64287788 for information on AIDS prevention, safe sex, and how to react during public health emergencies.

Consultations can be also reached via e-mails and online forums.

With today marking the 17th World AIDS Day, the hotline is an attempt to provide more useful information on AIDS to Beijing citizens.
