The odds are Beijing reached its predicted number of blue-sky days in November.
The report of Beijing's November air quality, issued by the Environment Protect Bureau, indicates that the number of blue-sky days in November reached 22, an increase of 9 days compared with the same period of last year.
The 22 days of blue sky in November mean that, with only 18 blue-sky days in December, the city will reach it's target of 227 clear days for the year.
However, an official from Environment Protect Bureau says because the change of weather is unpredictable and the exhausts of buring coal along with the drop in temperature will surely increase, more efforts will be taken.
