Perched on Qinglian Islet (Green Lotus Islet) , this house was built in the style of the House of Mists and Rains on Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, in the 46th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign (1781). When it drizzles, the lake is shrouded in mist, and the water and sky merge in one. It is a wonderful sight that one should not miss.
