Puren Temple (Temple of Universal Benevolence), also called Qiansi (Front Temple), was built in 1713 for the Mongolian nobles of various tribes who came to Chengde to offer congratulations on Emperor Kangxi's 60th birthday. The Trikala Buddha in the Ciyun Puyin Hall (Hall of Benevolent Cloud and Universal Protection) in the Temple of Universal Benevolence: Sakyamuni, Present Buddha (center); Kasyapa, Former Buddha (left); and Maitreya, Future Buddha (right).
