Anzihe Panda Natural Reserve was established in 1993 by Sichuan Province for the purpose of protecting giant panda and it's habitat. 

The reserve is located in the northwest of Chongzhou city, about 100 km from Chengdu city. It is a forest and wild animal nature reserve involved mainly in the protection of wild pandas and rare wild animals and their ecological environment. 

Linking with Wolong, Baoxing Fengtongzhai and Tianquan Labahe natural reserves as a whole, the Natural Reserves constitute a big region of protection network for panda living and exchange freely in Qionglai Mountains.
