The North Hot Spring Park is at the foot of the Jinyun Mountains and by the Jialing River. This place is also endowed with twenty-five hot springs. 

The scenery in this park is centered on four Buddhist halls. Other popular attractions include Stone Carving Garden and Lotus Pond. Together with old structures from ancient times, there are also many tablets and cultural relics. 

There are more than seventy caves, of which the most renowned one is Ruhua Cave because as deep as seventy meters it offers a beautiful view of stalactites. 

In terms of the natural scene, the most attractive one is Tongjing Gorge. Consisted of Wentang, Tongjing and Laoying Gorges, Tongjing Gorges are reputed as the 'Three Minor Gorges', of which the most attractive one is Wentang Gorge, because it boasts an extra ordinary panoramic view of natural beauty. As a result, the place is praised as the 'Fairyland of Wuling' by the men of letters throughout the ages.
