Xiangjiang Wildlife World is a lively place in Panyu featuring over 10,000 animals in 300 species from all over the world. Many of them are unseen before in China. 

The Wildlife World is divided into two sections. The first is a drive through Safari in a special window-sealed bus with none stops during the tour, except to get through the double gates. Here there are areas for camels, yaks, cheetahs, bears, tigers, lions, cheetahs, zebras, emus, giraffes and assorted deer. This takes about 20 minutes. The second section is much larger and is for walking. Here, visitors may stroll into different ecological environments to take a closer look at animals in the wild nature. 

Performances are held several times during the day at each of five venues, more on weekends and public holidays. The venues are: White Tiger Show, Crocodile Show, Elephant Show, Parrot Show, Sea lion Show. 

In December 1997, the Wildlife World officially opened to the public. It is the only one large-scale wildlife park that owned and managed by private company, as well as the largest of its kind in China.
