Travelers going by rail to Guangzhou then connecting to buses for destinations in the Pearl River Delta region can now buy bus tickets issued by Guangyuan Coach Station on seven trains, according to Guangzhou Railway Station officials.

The trains to Guangzhou depart from Nanchang in Jiangxi Province, Luohe in Henan Province, Yichang in Hubei Province, Kunming in Yunnan Province, Guiyang in Guizhou Province and Jinan in Shandong Province.

Free connecting transportation from Guangzhou Railway Station to the Guangyuan Coach Station is part of the package. Passengers will be directed to the special buses by Guangyuan staff at the railway station. Passengers connecting by taxi will be reimbursed for their taxi fares.

Bus tickets bought on these trains are valid for one month.

The service is provided by the Guangzhou Railway Station and Guangyuan Coach Station to crack down on scalpers and illegal buses, perennial problems during the Spring Festival travel period.
