| This cave located on Mount Zhonghe on the Wuyang River
east of Zhenyuan consists of six groups of ancient buildings and has
been listed as one of the major cultural relics under state protection.
The ancient structures at Qinglong Cave are all built on cliffs or
beside caves with winding corridors connecting one to the other. The
buildings are all exquisitely constructed fully in harmony with cliffs,
caves and ancient trees around, and they stand in rows with clear
distinctions. The whole group of buildings, occupying 11,000 square
metres, was first built before the mid-Ming Dynasty and has been rebuilt
many times. |
