| The national forest park of bamboo is northwest
of Jinsha Gully Spinulose Tree Ferns Nature Reserve. There are over
40 varieties of bamboo and nan bamboo alone covers 18,000 hectares.
The sight of the spring bamboo shooting up stimulates people's wildest
imagination. The oddly shaped, thousand-year-old ancient trees are
most fascinating. Visitors can also live in bamboo houses, sit on
bamboo furniture and eat bamboo (shoots, sprouts and rice cooked in
bamboo tubes) to fully enjoy the charm of nature. |
