| This national scenic area,15 kilometres
southeast of Libo, is filled with colourful water scenes. Combining
waterfalls, rapids, underground rivers, lakes, canyons and limestone
caves with forests, it forms the natural beauty of secluded, lofty
and elegant scenes. Its main scenic spot, Xiao Qikong Scenic Zone,
holds the world's only existing primeval forests in a karst landform
on that latitude. The forests cover an area of 22.8 square kilometers
and offers many scenic spots, including waterfalls, limestone caves
and the picturesque Mandarin Duck Lake. |
