A national scenic spot, the falls are on
the Baishui River, 15 kilometres From the Zhenning county seat, 137
kilometres from Guiyang, and 45 kilometres from Anshun. The waterfalls,
74 metres high and 81 metres wide, are the biggest of their kind in
China and also one of the world's most magnificent. The water billows
down into the Xiniu (Rhinoceros) Pool, sending up great spray and
creating rainbows. |
