The West Lake Expo Museum was built on the site of the old West Lake Industrial Building to commemorate the first West Lake Expo in 1929, promote the openness of Hangzhou's culture and set up a platform for the products made in Hangzhou. 

The museum can be divided into three parts 'World Expo & Chinese Society', '1929's West Lake Expo' and 'The Golden Business Card'. Lots of valuable historical materials are stored inside the museum.
