 The
Urad Mountain
The Urad Mountain, one part of the Yinshan Mountains, lies across
the southeast of the Bayannur League. It extends from the city of
Shizuishan to the Kundulun River. It is 1500-2000 meters above the
sea level. The State-Operated Urad Tree Farm is here. Now 220,000
mu of area has been forested. The major species of trees include mountain
poplars, birches, pines, cypresses and so on. Besides, many places
of the mountain are covered with bushes and wild medicinal herbs.
With beautiful scenery, the Urad Mountain is an ideal place for the
tourists to spend summer vacation. |
