 The
Uliangsuhai Lake
The Uliangsuhai Lake is the largest freshwater lake in the west of
Inner Mongolia and is one of the eight largest freshwater lakes in
our country. It is situated in the Bayannur League, at the eastern
end of the Hetao Plain. It covers an area of more than 400,000 mu.
The lake is characterized by quality water and abundant water resources.
It teems with fish and reed.
