The Ocean Park, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade and three wetland parks including Mai Po Nature Reserve have been selected as the top three most lovable sights by HK residents.
According to a government press release on Friday, more than 300,000 Hong Kong people have participated in the two stages of voting to pick the most lovable sights in 'My Heart, My Home -- 18 Districts Reach Out Together For Lovable Sights In Hong Kong'.
The Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade includes Clock Tower, Avenue of Stars, Star Ferry Pier and cultural complex.
Also gaining high votes were the Peak Tower and the Peak Tram, and the night scene at Jat's Incline, Kowloon Peak.
More than 800 participants in the second stage who selected the top three sights have won prizes in a ballot.
'My Heart, My Home' was organized by the Home Affairs Bureau, 18 District Councils and the Hong Kong Institute of Architects. Its goals were to enable residents to better understand the district they lived in and Hong Kong in general, and to be more concerned about their neighborhood and the beauty around them.
