Hillside in the east Panda Lake is abrupt with frequent land
fallings and its base rock is exposed. The stone cone formed
by falling of rock is well developed and is in large scale.
However, the vale of the valley is very narrow and blocked
channel shaped by falling rocks forms the 65 m high moraine
dam. Accumulated water of blocked channel of moraine dam forms
the Panda Haizi; the water of the Panda Haizi passes over
the stone dam to form the high waterfall. Even though the
front edge and craggedness of the waterfall experienced anaphase
calcification and it is coved by large amount of falling sediments,
it could still be made out the vestige of the accumulated
falling rocks. |
