| Nuorilang Waterfalls
(Ruorina Waterfalls) |
| The
top of the Ruorina Waterfall is a slightly protruding, isolated and
perpendicular cliff, front edge of which is formed by calc-sinter
flow. The surface of the cliff has many lotus flower like calc-sinter
substances and a Cliffside spring is flooding down from the front
edge of the platform. Extending direction of the Ruorina Waterfall
is identical with a faultage which spreads along the tail of the Zhawagou
and Rhinoceros Haizi. This faultage forms the original topographical
difference (faultage cliff) of the channel. Due to the movement of
the faultage, it causes the landslide of same layer of base rock in
south hillside of the waterfall and huge amount of dilapidation in
the north hillside of the waterfall. |
