Mount Zayizaga is the holy mountain for Tibetan Buddhists to make
the circumambulation and pilgrimage. It is located at the east of
Zaru Gou in Jiuzhaigou natural protection zone, with 4432 meters
high in altitude in its main peak and linked with Zaru Monastery
at its foot. It is the representation and symbol of Tibetan Buddhism
in Jiuzhaigou and thus called “the Master of Mountains”.
