All Flowers Islet
All Flowers Islet is in the center of East Lake. It formerly consisted
of three islets, and now two of them are in August 1 park. The name
of All Flowers Islet was derived from a poem chanting the praise
of Yuzhang by a certain poet in the Song Dynasty. In the 11th year
of the reign of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1746 AD), Peng Jiaping,
governor of Jiangxi Province, wrote the words "All Flowers
Islet", and ordered a tablet set up with the words on it. "The
Night Moon Over East Lake" and "Spring Vegetables in the
Supu Garden", two of the "Ten Sceneries of Yuzhang",
can be seen on this islet.
