The South-lake Park, in the southeast of
the city, is a park of sub-tropical scenery. It occupies a total
area of 1,266,000 square meter The lake, as smooth as a mirror,
makes up three-fourths of the total area. The pavillions, bridges
and pleasure-boats scattering on the lake constitute a charming
picture.
