Zhou Enlai's former residence, a 3-storied garden villa, located on Sinan Road, luwan District, was the office of the Chinese Communist Party's delegation in Shanghai. On May 1946, in accordance with the 'Double- Tenth Agreement' between the Nationalist Party and the Communist Party, Zhou Enlai led the Nationalist Party and the Communist Party, Zhou Enlai's Apartment. Premier Zhou Enlai's came to Shanghai four times. Here he held press conferences and met with patriotic personages.
