St Joseph's Catholic Church, located on South Sichuan Road, built in 1860, is a Catholic church built in the early days in Shanghai. It is a Gothic structure built of red bricks with a steeple, 50-m high. On the roof are four 3-m high small bell towers surrounding a 5-m high giant bell. Around the bell pedestal are stained-glass windows and beautiful shutters.
