GUANGONG TEMPLE is located on Dajing Road in Nanshi District. It was originally an arrow fort on the western gate of the northern part of the old Shanghai's city wall. During the Wanli years of the Ming Dynasty, a temple was erected to enshrine Guangong.It has been renovated several times and is now a key relic site under municipal protection.
