Located on the east side of Huangpu River, Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone covers a total area of 28 square kilometers and features finance, trade and commerce. 

The first phase of Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone construction covers an area of 6.8 square kilometers and has now attracted over 50 foreign insurance companies and banks. In addition, the nation's many key markets such as securities, futures, real estate, human resource and diamond, as well as the headquarters of many Fortune's top 500 transnational companies in China and Asia region and the headquarters of some domestic super group such as Bao Steel and China Worldbest all gather in the zone. 

As the financial, commercial and cultural hub of Pudong district, Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone now boasts 400 plus modern skyscrapers of various architectural styles, serving as the showcase of the achievement that has been made in Pudong since it was first opened up ten years ago.
