Snaking its way through the Luohu, Futian and Nanshan districts, this multi-lane avenue provides for a leisurely drive that will quickly give visitors a taste of the Shenzhen spirit. It passes through 17.2km of newly built urban landscape, complete with some truly fascinating architecture, provides a peek at the city's renowned theme parks, and ends up in the greenest part of the city. The entire route has been lined with flower beds and lawns. It is one of the busiest streets in Shenzhen. Many landmark buildings are along this street. It is also a representation of Shenzhen's night scenery. 

It was listed as the city's top 8 tourism and cultural areas in June 28th 2004.
