An international acrobatics festival opened in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, Friday evening.

During the Sixth China Wuhan International Acrobatic Art Festival, acrobats will stage 31 programs, competing for two awards, the Huanghe (Yellow Crane) for the adult group and the Fangcao (Fragrant Grass) for the child group, organizers said.

The six-day event has attracted acrobats from Russia, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the United States, Brazil, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ukraine, Mongolia, China and China's Taiwan Province.
