Xiaoting Ancient Battlefield is famous for the 'Xiaoting Battle' during the Three Kingdoms period. It's a place that all military strategists in ancient China strived to occupy. There once happened eight massive battles and has a rich military culture with a history over 2,000 years.
The place is one of the 'Top ten scenic spots of the new Three Gorges' in Yichang.
