| On the eastern slope of a mountain near the west bank
of the Yellow River at the gorge in Qingtongxia county stand 108 dagobas
arranged in twelve rows from one to nineteen in odd numbers. In the
shape of a large equilateral triangle, this architectural complex
is known as "108 Dagobas".It is the only existing largest
ancient dagobas group in the architecture of Chinese dagobas. It is
not known when the dagobas were built. But the shape is a kind of
solid lama tower prevailed the year of Yuan Dynasty. |
